BEST TREATMENT FOR STRETCHMARKS, & SCARS
What is Stretchmark & Scar Concealment (A.K.A Brazilian Camouflage)
A process refined from a Brazilian technique of permanently concealing stretch marks, scars and other skin related imperfections. The process is effective where it be naturally occurring, from injuries or surgery.
Our camouflage procedure differs greatly from micro-pigmentation as it is not affected by the process of cellular renewal. The pigments are not susceptible to fading or discoloration over time due to sun exposure or the bodies natural absorption.
Our camouflage technique takes place directly in the dermis where the skin colour is stable and does not change over time. This unique method combines precise colour formulation to perfectly match many different skin complexions for a concealed and permanent solution.

Brazilian Camouflage: Starting at $2000tt
The total cost of the procedure varies greatly as it is dependent upon the location and severity of the stretch marks or scar. Prices range from $350-$2,000+/per area. We require an initial consultation (in-person or virtual). The initial consultation is complementary for all of our clients. The final quote will be determined based on the consultation on a case by case basis.
Brazilian Scar camouflage is a form of paramedical tattooing specialized to disguise scars caused by stretch marks, burns, surgeries, or injuries, hyperpigmentation and other skin imperfections.
The Scar Camouflage procedure consists of tattooing over the affected areas with a personalized blend of pigments similar to the skin tone of the patient. This procedure allows the affected areas to blend into the surrounding skin. This results in complete camouflage of the targeted imperfection. Research has concluded that most clients are most interested in improving the tone of their skin rather than the texture. Currently there is no procedure that cures scars or stretch marks. This gives our technique prominence in the beauty industry by providing the best results when it comes to an aesthetic solution for contrast concerns.
This treatment does not change the texture of the skin, much less the color. The natural color of the skin is taken as a reference so that the observed results are completely natural.
Who is a Good Candidate?
A good candidate for Brazilian camouflage for stretch marks and scars are people with Stretch Marks and scars older than 2 years and have to be lighter than your skin color.
Types of Stretchmarks
The Red/Purple stretchmarks- these are the most recent stretch marks, which are in the process of inflammation meaning that the tissue was not totally destroyed and there is still blood circulating on the site. You may experience an itch. With time, the lines will gradually lose the tone to become whitish, sometimes with pearly aspect, called violet. (Note this type of Stretch marks can’t be treated with Camouflage until it heals and turns white) White (albas striae) shallow and narrow: Usually there is no difference in the texture of the skin and have little sensitivity to touch. White (albas) deep and wide striations: perceptible to the touch, as linear depressions, the skin is thinner, soft and flaccid, normally violaceous (of violet color), because it is possible to see intact tissues behind the stretchmark.
Scar Camouflage Tattoo vs Micropigmentation:
There are fundamental differences between a Scar Camouflage Tattoo and a Micropigmentation procedure. The most notable difference is where the treatment takes place, during a camouflage tattoo procedure a uniquely matched, insoluble pigment is deposited into the dermis where the colour remains stable and is protected from absorption, fading, and the effects of the sun. The micropigmentation process takes place in the epidermis where the pigments over time will fade due to the body's natural cellular renewal process. Fading or colour change will also occur due to sun exposure and the proximity of the inks to the surface of the skin. The pigments used for Scar Camouflage Tattoos differ from those used in Micropigmentation, as tattoo inks are insoluble, unlike their soluble counterparts used in the Micropigmentation process, which in time will be absorbed by the body.
How many sessions will I need?
The sessions are very safe and are designed to work based on your natural skin tone. The procedure is performed in a single session, however, in some cases, after 60 days, a small refinement session is required.
The advantages of the treatment are many:
- • It is a minimally invasive and definitive procedure.
- • It is safe and the results are guaranteed.
- • It offers personalized solutions that last.
- • It can be performed on any type of skin.
Aftercare and Guidelines:
- After 3 hours, remove the bandages gently and wash with warm water and mild soap. DO NOT REBANDAGE.
- First 3 days: Ice 2x a day (20 minutes, each area).
- After the 3rd day, stop the process of icing and maintain with the ointments listed below for over 10 days.
- Apply a thin layer of A7D Ointment or Neosporin 3 times a day.
- Stay out of sunlight and tanning booths until tattoo is healed for 40 days.
- In the first 40 days the pigmented region will become darker.
- In the first 7 days, avoid physical exercise.
- In the first 30 days, do not use sunscreen, sunblock, self-tanner, no substance that contains vitamin D, or that stimulate the production of vitamin D, or any substance with photo-sensitizing agents.
- Do not soak tattoo in a tub, sauna, Jacuzzi or go swimming while your new tattoo is healing. Showers are fine.
- Do not rub or pick the treated area while it is healing. Loss of colour and /or infection could occur.
- Extreme sun and exposure over the years can and will fade your tattoo. This can be minimized by using a strong sunscreen, at lease SPF25.
- Your tattoo should heal in 4 weeks. Consult a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: redness at site, green/yellow discharge (foul smelling and/or fever.
Tanned Skin:
It's recommended to only do treatments on areas of the body that have not been recently tanning in the sun or using a tanning bed. Their natural skin tone is required for best results. Once the tan fades an appointment can be booked for treatment. If these guidelines are not strictly adhered to, you could run the risk of applying the wrong pigments. You will need to wait approximately 40 days until natural skin tone has returned.
Can this technique be performed for all kind of imperfections?
No, the procedure should only be performed on stabilized skin that is beyond the final stages of cicatrization (the process of wound healing to produce scar tissue). In most cases, the qualified affected areas will appear lighter in tone to the surrounding skin.
Why is this method perfect for skin imperfections?
In the case of stretch marks, the thin area between the unaffected skin is healthy and only appears different in tone. The method we will cover creates a high impact and visually superior finish, as it makes it very difficult to distinguish the affected areas to the unaffected.
Can this procedure work on deep scaring or wounds?
Yes, however, the procedure in no way smooths out or "cures" the skin. This processes will effectively camouflage the affected areas allowing it to go undetected.
What if I gain or lose weight post treatment? Does this compromise the results?
the procedure only applies to the existing camouflaged area. Any subsequent transformation are not the responsibility of the professional, but can be retouched if changes occur.
Can this procedure be performed on all skin colours and types?
Almost all skin types and colours can be worked on as long as they qualify for the procedure with regards to healing around proposed area.
Can I sunbathe after the procedure?
Sunbathing is permitted as long as the aftercare protocol is adhered to. Direct sun exposure should be avoided for 60 days post procedure.
Does the treated area change colour with sun exposure?
No, the pigments will retain their tone even when the surrounding areas is tanned. It's always recommended to tan with the appropriate sunscreen.
Is the procedure painful?
Variables like personal pain tolerances, skin sensitivity and the treatment area. It is difficult to predict for everyone. Typically, there is no pain attributed with the procedures as the treatment area is comprised of skin that has been stretched or damaged.
How long does this procedure take?
The procedure can take one to six hours per session, over one to three sessions.

Stretch Marks:
The elastin fibers in the dermis layer are responsible for making the skin elastic and firm. These fibers typically produce adequate quantities of the major nutrient collagen.
When the skin becomes overstretched, the dermis layer which lies between the epidermis and hypodermis, gets torn. This action disrupts the production of collagen, causing the skin to stretch beyond its limits. The lack of collagen compounds the issue by makes it so the skin is unable to return to its original position, causing stretch marks appear on the surface of the skin.
